Adam Loften is a local Independent filmmaker and founder of Future Filmmaker Workshops. He has been teaching filmmaking to young people for the last six years, and is currently teaching at Redwood High School as a guest artist through the Theatre department. Adams passion of filmmaking spawned from theatre and grows daily. He strives to manifest positive change in the world by creating conscious media, and empowering young people by sharing with them the tools necessary to communicate their own feelings and stories.
This will be Willow’s 3rd year teaching at Future Filmmaker Workshops. She discovered filmmaking while mixing her passion for nutrition with her love of theatre and acting. After moving back home to the Bay Area from a stint in Southern California, she has been working as a freelance producer for the last couple years. Willow is currently producing a reality style TV show, “Fridge Raiders” where a team of health experts work together to ‘raid their fridge’ in hopes of transforming a families dietary lifestyle. At Future Filmmaker Workshops, Willow shares her understanding of character development and acting for the camera, allowing the student performances to shine with depth.
